THE HALES are a recording and performing group founded by New York based song writer/vocalist Eric Neher. Spending most of last year writing and recording a batch of songs in his home studio, MZKRM, Neher has stepped into the role of writer/producer for the first time has definitely opened up a new chapter with this music.

The songs THE HALES are vibrant and alive and have an open and inviting feel. The first one to be released, Precious Ways is a rootsy track which features introspective lyrics served up in an unabashed way. Deft electric guitar weaves its way through the song adding texture to the groove. Precious Ways was recorded at MZKRM, Melbourne, Australia and mixied by Adrew Idge Hehir at Sound Park Studios also in Melbourne.

The sound of THE HALES is a mix of roots-tinged guitars and electric bass pulsing over spiny rhythm-beds.

He has also done a 9 state tour of the Southern States of the US and has performed internationally in Paris, Bordeaux and Munich.
